Over 14 weeks, we will explore 4 different media; pencil drawing, oil pastels, water colours and acrylics. Step by step tuition in the basic techniques and secrets needed to create beautiful pieces of art. By the end of the course, students will have created a minimum of 8 pieces of art they can enjoy forever, from beautiful landscape scenes to incredible seaside vistas.

The Little Birds Market is back in Sloans on Sunday May 13th from 12noon - 5pm. There will be lots of lovely vintage, craft & design vendors taking part - clothes, jewellery, accessories, homewares, cakes, stationery & art so why not come along and have a nosey around the stalls and then sit down, relax and enjoy some of the delicious treats Mrs Sloans will be offering.

The market will take place inside the grand Sloans (ballroom & restaurant space), off Buchanan Street in the heart of Glasgow, as a fantastic indoor market - and is completely separate from the existing outdoor market. Sloans will be serving afternoon teas, brunch and other culinary delights in its newly launched ‘Mrs Sloans Cake Salon’....so that shoppers can indulge in some refreshments as well as retail therapy. We will be offering a tasty Afternoon Tea treat for £10.95 per person which includes a selection of finger sandwiches, scones, pastries & petit fours with your own choice of tea, or for £14.95 why not treat yourself to a glass of Prosecco to accompany your Afternoon Tea!
